Planet Explorers Walt Disney World Guide 2011: A Guidebook for Kids by Laura Schaefer offers your 8-12 year old everything they need to know about a trip to “the World” in a fresh ebook format. Available at for $2.99, this easy to follow guide takes you through each park with a kid-focused explanation of attractions, eateries, retail shops and more. It also includes plenty of fun facts and trivia, many with links to interesting Disney themed sites. The guide was written in a style that felt like a cool insider was telling you all the best info about your upcoming vacation. I liked it!

The ebook format was fun to use. Most information was current. (Although I realize it is difficult to keep up to the minute with park facts, like closures.) Also, the book only touched on topics such as resorts and made no mention of cost, etc. However, I feel this is completely appropriate for a guidebook aimed at kids. Be sure to check out the other Planet Explorers titles: Disneyland and Chicago.

This ebook is definitely one I will be sharing with the MouseEars bunch. After I’m completely done with it. I don’t want to be fighting them for my iPad 🙂
